  • What is the rental fee for The MylesStone Venue? ​

  • What is the capacity?

150 guest including bridal party.​​

  • How do I reserve a date?

To reserve a date please call us at 731-318-2588 or email, us at mylesstonevenue@gmail.com saying you are ready to book XYZ date if it is still available. We suggest you email us stating you are ready to book your preferred date and then include a backup date in case your preferred date is unavailable. Prior to booking a date, we hope you are able to come out in person to visit the venue. Dates are reserved on a first requested basis. Whomever has requested to start the contract process from us by email first for a specific date will be first in line.

  • When are payments due? Do you offer a payment plan?

When the contract is signed, to continue holding the date. We require a $300 booking fee for all days and to be paid.  Twelve months prior to the event 50% of the remaining fee will be due. The final installment will be required 30 days prior to the event.  You are welcome to send smaller amounts, partial payments of any amount prior to the specified due date, so in effect creating your own payment plan on your schedule. Please include the last names of the couple and the wedding date in the memo line if you are mailing a check.  Full payments are due on the specified due date.  We also reserve the right to request a credit card on file for any damages to the facility or grounds.  Tax is applied to each payment.

  • ​Do you require event insurance?

No, event insurance is not a requirement; however, we strongly advise consulting with your agent prior to finalizing your decision regarding event insurance."

  • Fees we have to charge. I don't like it either! 

Tennessee charges a 9.75% sales tax in addition to the venue rental.

  • Additional Information:

Pricing subject to change at any time. Your contract rate and terms will be based on the date the contract is written, not the date of the tour. (Sometimes couples tour weeks or months before they book, or before we open a future year calendar for booking. If there has been a change in rate, the contracted investment/terms will be based on the date we wrote the contract, not the date of the tour.)

 

  •  No Hidden Fees!

The MylesStone Venue has no hidden fees. Linens are the only thing we offer in addition to our rental fee for an additional cost. (You don’t have to get linens through us - it’s totally optional.)

  • Do I need to schedule a tour, or can I just stop by?

We kindly request that all tours are by appointment only.  You can request a tour by calling 731-318-2588 or by email mylesstonevenue@gmail.com​

  • How many cars will your parking lot accommodate?

85 cars in main parking area plus 40 in the over fill lot. We are in the country, so we have plenty of field parking.

  • Will there be another event the same day?​

NO! At the MylesStone Venue we only host one event each day to ensure that each event is special and receives our full attention.​

​

  • We plan to have our ceremony offsite, or only plan to have our ceremony at The MylesStone Venue. Does your fee change?

Because we only host one event per day, our fee structure remains the same whether you hold your ceremony, reception, or both onsite. ​

  • What form of payment does The MylesStone Venue accept?

Cash or Check​

​

  • What time will I have access to the venue to decorate?

You will have access to the venue at the time listed on your contract, not earlier. Please plan accordingly!​
​

  • What time does the music need to end?

Music on Saturday must conclude by 11:30 p.m. to ensure that you and all of your items, and all of your vendors are off property by 1:00 a.m.  Music on Friday must conclude by 11:00 p.m. to be off property by 12:00 a.m. and Music on Sunday must conclude by 8:00 p.m. to be off property by 10:00 p.m.​

  • Do you allow dogs onsite to play a part in our wedding day?

We are dog friendly, with some specific stipulations. Dogs are allowed (only with pre-approval by Sam) at the ceremony and pictures. Animals, other than service animals. Dogs must be on a leash, and someone must be responsible for them other than the bride and groom.

  • ​Does The MylesStone Venue handle the catering orders for caterers, or do I work with the caterer directly?

In our experience, it's most efficient and most cost effective for couples to work directly with the caterer. Simply book your big day with The MylesStone Venue and reach out to the caterers of your choosing to schedule a tasting and get the ball rolling!

  • Are candles allowed?​

Yes, candles are allowed as long as the flame is completely contained in a candle holder. Tapered candles and any type of hanging candles will not be allowed for safety reasons.

  • Can we have fireworks on the property?

Fireworks are not permitted.  We don’t want to scare the neighbors and we want to keep the fire department happy!

  • We are using a rental company.  Can they drop items off or pick them up outside of the rental period? 

All deliveries must happen during the standard rental period. Please advise your vendors of this policy.

  • What is the event clean-up process?

The MylesStone Venue staff will handle all standard clean up and trash removal following the event.

​

  • Can we nail decorations to the walls or hang things like streamers or lanterns from the ceiling and walls?

NO! We request that holes are not placed in the walls. We hope that you will find them beautiful without any extra work!

  • Can we have alcohol?

YES! We recommend you hire a TNABC licensed bartender serve ALL alcoholic beverages. You are responsible for providing all of the alcoholic beverages and ice for your event. You may either purchase it yourself and/or have your caterer or bartender provide it.

  • Can I drop off alcohol and ice the day before the event?

Alcohol and ice need to be brought on the day of your event. We are not able to store alcohol and ice overnight. Some liquor stores will deliver for free – worth asking for.

  • Can I put my beverages in the refrigerator?

We do have a refrigerator for your use. Coolers should be used to ice down beer and wine. The big refrigerator has an empty freezer to store a couple of extra bags of ice. Check with us to see if you may need to bring an extra cooler depending on amount of beer.

Just a few reminders…

  • Shots and alcohol over the rocks is not permitted.

  • No cash bars are permitted (we do not have a license to sell alcohol)

  • Alcoholic beverages are recommended to be served in clear plastic. Glass + dance floor + bare feet never mix well. Glass is permitted at tables, such as water glasses or champagne toasts.

  • Alcoholic beverages are to be served with food (there’s a good reason most local bars serve food).

  • No kegs allowed – slippery mess not to mention so much waste with kegs.

  • Alcohol service to minors is strictly prohibited.

  • Alcohol service must stop no later than five hours after the bar start time or 30 minutes prior to end of rental and drinks with hard alcohol stops one hour before, whichever is earlier. It’s a long time for free drinks and their safety is our concern.

  • No last call for alcohol. You may want to place a small sign letting guests know what time the bar will close.

  • At any time, if The MylesStone Venue staff deems alcohol consumption to be excessive, we have the authority to evict inebriated guests from the property (we’ve never had to do this, and we are thankful and blessed with respectful couples and their guests.
